Raw Spinach Smoothie With Celery, Banana, and Fresh Lime Juice

This energy-giving raw green spinach smoothie comes with celery, banana, flaxmeal, sunflower seeds, and lime juice. I also added a few strawberries for a touch of red sweetness, but these are optional.

I only use a bit of filtered water to dilute, but you can opt to add either no further liquids or a bit of hemp milk for extra nutrients.

Serves: 3 / Ready in: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

2 cups of fresh organic spinach

1 organic celery stalk with leaves

1 banana

3 organic strawberries

1 teaspoon organic flaxmeal

1 teaspoon sunflower seeds

1/2 cup filtered wate

Directions:

Add all ingredients to your blender and blend / pulse until everything is nicely mixed with some pulp remaining. This tastes great at any time of the day, but it is a particularly nice pick-me-up drink for the morning as breakfast.

If you enjoy it after your workout, add a teaspoon of organic raw vegan protein powder.
