Blueberries are antioxidant powerhouses that beat off any seasonal sniffles and should be a staple in your healthy diet, along with blackberries and strawberries too. Always get these organic if you can, as they tend to be heavily sprayed!

The healthy fat comes from soaked nuts and the coconut oil in this smoothie, which aid to absorb nutrients and the coconut oil actually eats fat and is anti-fungal!

Soaking the nuts makes them much easier to digest and eliminates the enzyme inhibitors.

Your ice cubes and green tea serve as thermogenic in this case, which is a great aid for weight management, as it creates heat in the body, allowing you to burn more calories and releasing toxins from your fat cells.

The spirulina is your other detox secret here: a potent seaweed super-food that will clean you out like a whistle!

Serves 2

· 1 cup organic blueberries
· 1/4 cup soaked raw almonds or walnuts or 2 tbsp organic flax meal
· 1 tbsp raw organic coconut oil
· 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
· 1/2 cup ice cubes
· 1 cup water or cold green tea
· 1 tsp spirulina

Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and enjoy!
